I have over 11 years of experience providing breastfeeding education and assistance to mothers and babies to help them achieve their breastfeeding goals and am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

I can provide breastfeeding education and consultations in the privacy of your home before and after your baby is born.

A few examples of breastfeeding services that I can provide:

*Prenatal breastfeeding education

*Prenatal planning on increasing breastfeeding success in special circumstances

*Assistance with nipple soreness or pain

*Assistance with newborn weight loss or slow weight gain

*Evaluation for tongue tie

*Concerns about breastmilk supply

*Getting baby back to breastfeeding

*Assistance with weaning from nipple shields

*When baby refuses to breastfeed

*Induced lactation or relactation

All breastfeeding services offered by Tree of Life strictly adhere to:

  • The Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding for Hospitals, as outlined by UNICEF/WHO

    • and

  • UNICEF's International Code for Marketing Breast-milk Substitutes

    • Private In-Home Breastfeeding Counseling

    Breastfeeding education and private breastfeeding counseling

    Cost: $40 an hour due at time of service - initial consultation is a minimum of 2 hours. Pricing is for Salem-area. For consultations outside of Salem, a mileage charge may be added. Additional assistance by phone/email, no extra charge after initial consultation.
